Tanot rai mata
Mata Shree Hinglaja ji as per her promise was born in BC 808 as Mata Shree Avad Devi,on navmi of chaitra month according to Hindu Calender. She was the first child of Shree Mamadiya ji.
Mata ji was the eldest amongst all seven daughter of Shree Mamadiya ji. She was popular among masses, from her childhood onwards showed many chamatkars(miracles).
She is worshipped as Tanot rai Mata , Goddess of Tanot(name of the village)
History of the Temple
The Tanot rai temple was built by last Bhati Raja Tanurav ji in BC 888. Tanot village is very near to Indo-pak boarder nearest city is Ramgarh.

This temple is maintained by BSF.
In the war of 1965 (Indo-pak war) , 450 shells were droped on this temple but the temple was unharmed . Pakistan army shelled about 3000 shells on Tanot and near by areas.
Near by areas were also protected from shelling and no harm to any thing.
